Maciej Karpiński, screenwriter of "Kobieta Lonely" and "Różyczka" among others, has died.

He was a prominent figure in the community. He created and helped others – as a lecturer, literary director of the "Perspektywa" ensemble, and director of the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia.

He was born on November 21, 1950, in Warsaw. He graduated from the renowned Stefan Batory High School and then studied art history at the University of Warsaw.
